A women-owned business, we are two sisters providing a unique place to gather. We find joy and honor in being a part of our client’s wondrous moments, supporting the connective tissue of our community. The Upland commits to an exquisite and affordable experience.     Sadie.

    Sadie Ford co-owns The Upland, along with sister, Whitney Terry. True to the saying, everyone moves back to the beauty of the Ozarks, she returned to help others cement their roots here through memorable gatherings. With event planning experience, she provides support for a smooth event. When not at the venue, Sadie can be found hiking, having a cooking night with friends, or curled up with a good book.

    Whitney.

    Whitney Terry co-owns The Upland, along with sister, Sadie Ford. Calling the Ozarks home for more than 15 years and a MSU Bear alum, she is dedicated to fostering beautiful moments at the venue. She brings a creative, fashionable perspective to events, and ensures thoughtful, elegant details. When not at the venue, Whitney can be found crafting handmade items for her Etsy shop, caring for her collection of houseplants, or spending time with her husband & fur-baby, a 1-year old German pointer.

Hi my name is Dee Albers, owner of Delores Albers Photography. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, and we have one beautiful daughter, five dogs, and three turtles. We live in the Nixa community where I also have a studio located in the downtown area.

I gave birth to my daughter in 2005 where she quickly became my muse. After two years of exploring my newfound love for photography, I decided it was time to start my own photography business. Since then I have master many forms of photography and lighting techniques. I love all types of photography subjects and events, but weddings, seniors, and family portraits are some of my favorites.
